I’m Robert Young, your guide, storyteller, and unofficial Newfoundland ambassador for today’s e-bike adventure. Now, before we get rollin’, let’s get one thing straight—you don’t need to be Lance Armstrong to survive this tour. These e-bikes? They do half the work for ya! So unless you make a habit of pedaling backward, I promise you’ll be just fine.

We’re about to ride through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Newfoundland—rugged cliffs, ocean views, secret lookouts, and yes, the world-famous Elliston puffins. 🐧 But this ain’t just a sightseeing tour—it’s a proper Newfoundland experience. I’ll be fillin’ your ears with local tales, a bit of history, and maybe even a few fibs (don’t worry, I’ll tell ya which ones are true).

We’ll start right here at Sunset High Co. on 72 Main Street, a fine place to gather, get geared up, and argue over who looks best in a helmet. Then we’ll hit the trail, takin’ the scenic route past old root cellars, historic sites, and some of the best coastal views ya ever laid eyes on. We might even stop for a yarn or a cup of tea if the mood strikes—because in Newfoundland, we don’t rush.
